Riverside communities

Evangelism, church planting and building, and holistic discipleship in communities along the river.

Description

Bringing the gospel to the Amazon’s Indigenous communities also means building the place where each one can worship God. Our desire is that no community is left without a church building and a congregation to walk with it.

We evangelize, plant and build churches, baptize new believers in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, present couples before God in their marriage commitment, and disciple the Amazon’s pastors so they have tools for their churches to grow.

A church on the shore of every community

Six ways the gospel takes root along the river.

  • Evangelize

We travel by river and through the jungle to reach each community with the good news.

  • Plant churches

We walk with new believers until a congregation with its own roots is born.

  • Build churches

Together with each community we raise a place to gather and worship God.

  • Baptize in the river

New believers are baptized in the Amazon’s waters, before their whole community.

  • Community weddings

We present couples before God in their marriage commitment.

  • Disciple pastors

We teach and accompany pastors so that their churches grow healthy.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19
