Description
It is our covenant that there be a Bible in every Amazon home: that every family has access to God’s Word in their heart language and in a format they can understand. To achieve it we work on six fronts: prayer, translation, publishing, distribution, education and motivation.
What we do
- 01Bible distribution
- 02Discipleship
- 03Bible education programs
Eradicating Bible poverty

Bibles in the Amazon
- Bibles distributed to new believers, pastors, leaders and remote communities
- 945 000+
Six fronts, one covenant
A Bible in every Amazon home is not achieved with one single action.
Prayer
Everything begins by interceding for every community and every family.
Translation
The Word in each people’s heart language.
Publishing
Bibles and materials ready to reach every home.
Distribution
By river, road and jungle, to the most remote communities.
Education
Programs to learn to read, understand and apply the Bible.
Motivation
Awakening hunger for the Word in pastors, leaders and families.
Four phases in the Amazon
Reaching such a vast territory takes a plan. Following Acts 1:8 and under God’s direction, the work advances in four phases.
- Phase 1
Jerusalem (Leticia)
It all begins in Leticia, the city where the work is born.
- Phase 2
Judea (communities near Leticia)
Communities reached by land, from km 1 to km 30 and Puerto Nariño.
- Phase 3
Samaria (riverside communities)
In the Amazon, “riverside communities” are those living beside the river and reachable only by boat. This phase runs from Puerto Nariño to San Juan de Atacuari.
- Phase 4
The ends of the earth (border communities)
We are already in this phase together with the OBT, working with communities beyond the Amazon.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
